JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – The K8 Storm Team is watching Tuesday, April 28, for the possibility of severe weather.
Severe weather is in the forecast for the afternoon and evening, with a MEDIUM THREAT (Level 3 out of 5) for a large portion of Region 8.

The storms could begin as early as 1 p.m. and last as late as 7 p.m.

Our main threats are large hail and strong winds. There’s a low threat for tornadoes and a very low threat for flooding in places that see locally heavy rain.

Any hail, damaging wind, and tornadoes that form have the potential to be on the stronger side.
