If you’re a user of Zelle — the service used by the major American banks to transfer money virtually from account to account — and you’re encountering some issues on Friday, May 1 2026, you may be wondering: What’s going on there? Is it just you?
The answer is: It’s not just you.
Per DownDetector, there are issues that began on Friday midday Eastern time. I’ve taken a look around social media and it seems like there are some complaints. No official word that I’ve seen as of late from Zelle, but maybe the problem is in the middle of being fixed.
