Around 1:35 a.m., police responded to a reported shooting at a complex near Southwest 16th Street and Westwood Boulevard. When officers arrived, police said they found a victim with a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he died shortly after 3 a.m. Thursday.
