The Texas Tech softball team will try to score another win and finish off the Super Regional sweep today when the Red Raiders take on Florida in Game 2.
The Red Raiders got the game-winning home run from Mia Williams in the top of the seventh and pulled out a thrilling 10-8 win in the first game. Look for NiJaree Canady to start Game 2.

1:23 p.m.: Jasmyn Burns puts Texas Tech softball on the board with a sacrifice fly but the Red Raiders strand a pair. Florida leads 3-1 through 3 innings.
12:49 p.m.: Jazzy Burns draws a walk but that’s it for Texas Tech softball. Florida leads 2-0.
12:43 p.m.: NiJaree Canady settles in after the home run with three straight strikeouts, all looking. Texas Tech softball up to bat in the bottom of the 1st.
12:38 p.m.: Florida takes a 2-0 lead before an out can be recorded on a two-run home run from Jocelyn Erickson.
12:05 p.m.: NiJaree Canady will start in the circle for Texas Tech softball. Florida once against going with Keagan Rothrock.
10:35 a.m.: Scratch there. Texas Tech softball announced on social media the game will now start at 12:35 p.m. Central due to weather in the Gainesville area.
10:32 a.m.: Nothing to report, just updating that we’re an hour away from first pitch on ABC between Texas Tech softball and Florida.
