Easter does not have a fixed date. In Western Christianity, it is celebrated on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the spring equinox (March 21). Because of this, Easter can fall anywhere between March 22 and April 25. Eastern Orthodox churches calculate the date using the Julian calendar, which is why their Easter is often observed later.
