
Apple has just released new betas. Developer beta 2 is now available for iPadOS 26.5, watchOS 26.5, tvOS 26.5, and more.
New beta versions of Apple’s forthcoming 26.5 software updates have arrived.
If you’re on the developer beta, Apple has just released beta 2 for iOS 26.5 and macOS 26.5 alongside:
There are no public beta versions available yet. However, Apple is expected to debut these same software releases for public beta testers in the next day or so.
The first round of 26.5 betas included support for RCS end-to-end encrypted messaging in the Messages app, a new Suggested Places feature for Apple Maps, and some smaller changes.
Unfortunately, evidence of Siri’s AI upgrades was notably absent from 26.5 beta 1.
While it very much seems like Apple’s big Siri changes are waiting for iOS 27, we’ll let you know if anything new is discovered in today’s beta 2 releases.
Based on Apple’s usual timelines, we’re expecting iPadOS 26.5 and the other 26.5 updates to launch publicly in mid-May.
