While we have already entered May, Samsung has yet to release the April 2026 security patch for many eligible Galaxy smartphones. The Galaxy M15 was among them, but not anymore.
Samsung has started rolling out the April 2026 security patch to the Galaxy M15, beginning with its home market of South Korea. The update carries firmware version M156SKSS8CZD1.
The April 2026 security patch fixes a total of 47 security vulnerabilities found in the previous version of the software, making the device more secure than before.
Samsung is expected to release the April 2026 security patch for the Galaxy M15 in more countries over the next few days. To check if the update is available for your device and install it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
