We are offering reduced, nonrefundable fares in affected markets over the next five days to help travelers book last-minute travel
In response to Spirit Airlines’ suspension of operations, Delta is taking steps to support Spirit customers and team members with their near-term travel needs to help them reach their destinations.
We are offering reduced, nonrefundable fares in affected markets over the next five days to help travelers book last-minute travel, with availability even on flights that are close to full to provide more options even when space may be limited. These fares are available to all customers, not just those impacted by Spirit’s suspension of operations. Customers can access and book these fares via self-service in the Delta app or by visiting delta.com exactly as they would any other Delta ticket.
These options are available across all domestic markets where Spirit operates, including routes Delta serves nonstop and through one-stop connections via our hubs. We’ve also extended these reduced fare options to all routes between the U.S. and Latin America where Spirit operates. Fare availability will vary by market.
We recognize this is a difficult moment for Spirit Airlines employees and are focused on offering assistance where we can.
Spirit pilots and flight attendants can access standby travel on Delta per existing agreements for the next 10 days.
Qualified Spirit employees are also welcome to apply for open roles at Delta by visiting a dedicated careers microsite designed to flag the application for our recruiters.
