Vivo decided to shake things up a bit this year in the V series, at least as far as naming is concerned. The main device in the lineup arguably remains the vanilla V70, but now, the phone sitting above it is called the V70 Elite, while the one directly below it is the V70 FE. We are looking at the latter today.

The V70 FE is a little bit downgraded compared to its sibling, primarily in the camera department, where the periscope telephoto camera is missing. There is also a slightly less-powerful chipset inside the FE.
On the flip side, the V70 FE has a larger display than the regular model and is also, logically, physically bigger and with that, it also fits a notably larger 7,000 mAh Si/C battery onboard. Also, the bill of materials is a bit different, but that’s a less significant detail in our book.

Overall, you are still getting a very similar experience to the regular V70, but at a lower price point, which is always welcome to some prospective buyers.
The vivo V70 FE ships in a two-piece black cardboard box. It is very sturdy and should protect the phone just fine.

The V70 FE has a solid accessory package – at least the unit we received, which seems to be meant for Thailand. Our retail box came with a 90W charger and an accompanying USB Type-A to Type-C cable. Make sure you keep track of both if you want the fastest charging speed possible.
Also in the box is a nice transparent TPU case, so you can start using your shiny new phone worry-free right away.
